About Uniserve

Uniserve is one of Canada's longest-standing technology companies, delivering managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity, voice, data centre, and digital infrastructure solutions to businesses across the country.
As we continue to grow through strategic acquisitions and organic expansion, we are building a national technology platform designed to help Canadian businesses modernize, secure, and scale.
We are seeking a Vice President, Operations & Integration to help lead that growth.

A Company in Transformation

Under the leadership of CEO Gautam Lohia, Uniserve is entering an ambitious new chapter focused on growth, operational excellence, and national expansion.
We are investing in the people, systems, and leadership required to build a scalable, high-performing organization. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the executive team and play a significant role in shaping the future of the company.
For the right leader, this is more than an operations role—it's an opportunity to help build something meaningful.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional executive position.
We're looking for a hands-on operator who is equally comfortable discussing strategy in the boardroom, visiting a client site, supporting a major escalation, or helping integrate a newly acquired business.
You will serve as the bridge between vision and execution, ensuring our operating model, culture, customer experience, and service standards scale as the business grows.
Success in this role requires leadership, operational discipline, strong client instincts, and a willingness to stay connected to the realities of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Operations

  • Oversee service delivery, project delivery, customer support, and operational performance across the organization.
  • Establish clear accountability through KPIs, scorecards, and operational reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives.

Drive Acquisition Integration

  • Lead the operational integration of acquired companies.
  • Align people, processes, systems, and service standards across the organization.
  • Develop repeatable integration frameworks that support future growth.
  • Ensure smooth transitions for employees and customers.

Support Clients & Teams

  • Build relationships with key clients and serve as an executive escalation point when required.
  • Work closely with technical, service, and project teams to remove obstacles and improve outcomes.
  • Maintain visibility throughout the organization and lead by example.

Develop Leaders

  • Mentor and develop operational leaders across the business.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capability that supports long-term growth.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12–24 months:
  • Acquired companies are successfully integrated into the Uniserve operating model.
  • Operational performance is measured consistently across the organization.
  • Customer experience and service delivery improve across all business units.
  • Leadership accountability and operational maturity increase.
  • The business is positioned to scale efficiently through continued acquisition and growth.

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within managed services, telecommunications, cloud services, technology services, or a related industry.
  • Strong operational leadership experience with responsibility for service delivery, customer experience, and business performance.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and drive execution.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience integrating acquired companies or business units.
  • Experience in a high-growth or acquisition-focused organization.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a builder, not a bureaucrat.
You enjoy solving problems, developing people, improving systems, and helping customers succeed.
You lead through action, accountability, and involvement rather than hierarchy.
Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to help build a national technology platform alongside an ambitious leadership team.
